Abstract
i-Doctor is a medical toy set designed for children under 10 years old. NANA, the sick doll, is embedded with Near-field Communication (NFC) chips. With this toy set, children can become little doctors and learn different body parts while conducting diagnosis for NANA. The little doctors can also apply “X-ray” on NANA to check for any bone fractures using the handset and prescribe appropriate medication to facilitate NANA’s speedy recovery. The children can even perform surgery using the touch screen of the handset.
