Abstract

The collection “Smart Clothing” was inspired by backpackers and the gear that they bring in their journey. The design details focus on creative "one piece zipping up" and "zero waste pattern cutting" method to create a unique form of design. Through a variety of zip-up positions, the outfits create unexpected forms and show different styles that are equipped with multi-functional design. For example, a top can be transformed into a backpack by using the zipper to piece different fabrics together. The diversified yet practical collection fulfils the needs of wearers and promotes the concept of sustainable development of fashion design.
