Abstract

After six years of efforts, the fifth generation solar electric vehicle SOPHIE, SOPHIE V, was finally launched. The newly-developed SOPHIE V has a maximum speed of 110 km per hour and twin seats, as well as an expanded storage space and a roomy driver seat. SOPHIE V not only provides more functions compared to its previous versions, its design also resembles that of an ordinary vehicle.
