Following the success of the previous Practical Social and Industrial Symposium 2014 which have received overwhelming support from staff across different disciplines, the Research Support Unit (RSU) intends to expand the scope of this Symposium and organise the second Practical Social and Industrial Research (PSIR) Symposium.

The aim of the Symposium is to provide a platform for researchers and practitioners in vocational education and training to share and exchange their knowledge and experience with one another.

The main theme of the Symposium is “Taking Skills to the Next Level”, while the three sub-themes are Vocational Education and Training, Social Innovation for Ageing Population, & Environment and Sustainability.
